Our First Christmas Celebration

Today we went to my Nannies to celebrate christmas! We had yummy food as usual and the boys had lots of gifts to open! Of course Brady was more interested in the wrapping paper than his gifts :-) Here are a few quick pictures that I'm sure are going to be followed by MANY more in the next week!!

A great man is singing in heaven.

I haven't had much time to post lately but I promise to update over christmas break. I did want to post something about this great man that I once had in my life. I found out yesterday that my most favorite teacher ever, Robert Jones passed away at the young age of only 51. This wonderful man impacted my life so much and gave the gift of loving music that I will have with me the rest of my life. I have so many great memories of him. He was my teacher for over 4 years and daily I sing many of the songs that he taught us to get my babies to sleep. I saw him about a year ago and he was still the great funny man that I will always remember. I love you Mr Jones and can't wait to join you in heaven and sing together for our mighty God someday. The heavens definately have one more angel in their choir tonight!!

Please watch the wonderful tribute Channel 6 did on him Thursday night!

Last Weekend of November!

We had another great weekend!! Saturday we finally took family pics. I usually go to a photographer that does more personal photos but our time is so limited right now we just went to good ol' Sears. Brady did very good and didn't complain one time!! I went with a chocolate/brown theme since those are the colors my living rooms decorated in :-)We went to Jobys parents for a little while and had Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon. Same stuff different day there...

And then later on Saturday evening we went to Dave and Busters for my good friend Jessica's birthday! We had sooooo much fun! Joby and I got to have an "adult" night out thanks to Stew and Krissy watching the boys for us!! Today we spent the day just laying around in the living room watching movies and keeping warm with a fire! I love days like this!!
Well, I guess all I can say now is BRING ON DECEMBER!!

Thanksgiving!

Joby and I have so so much to be thankful for! We have two healthy boys, a warm safe home, living in a great community, great friends, a love for each other that neither of us new was possible, and a fear for the Lord who loves and forgives us even though we don't always obey him as we should ! We have such a great life! Perfect? Of course not. Happy? Immensely!

Today I would like I would like to share some tidbits about my two guys that I'm most thankful for!

Braxton Dean

* He has such a sweet spirit, maybe he's a little too soft hearted sometimes but I wouldn't change him for the world!
* This kid is a Video Game Genius!

* His first word was "Cheetos"

* He was named after Jobys brother that passed away, Charles Dean

* He makes friends really easy
* He's VERY accident prone, luckily the only broken bone so far has been his nose!

* He still likes for us to tuck him in at night!
* He's scared of dogs (He gets this from his moma!

* He asked for a baby brother forever and is such a good big brother, will even change diapers!

Bradyn Otto

* Is a moma's boy for sure! But still likes to hang out with daddy....

* It took us 2.5 years to conceive him but it was well worth the wait

* Decided he wanted to come almost 8 weeks early but I held him off for three more weeks!
* Spent 15 days in the NICU, mainly because he wouldn't eat on his own......
* He is 10 months old and weighs 21lbs....no problem eating anymore lol

* Still prefers to army crawl than crawl up on all fours

* Only takes his binky when hes tired

* Love love loves to play patty cake
* He was named after my late grandfather, Otto Taylor

* Could stare and laugh at his big brother all day

I could definitely go on and on about these boys but I'd be here all day! Again, I am soooo Thankful for my life!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Tuesdays are MY Mondays YUCK!

Well I only work Tues-Thurs so I guess I shouldn't complain but I still don't look forward to my "Mondays." Today wasn't too bad though just chilly, I guess its Winter!

Not much has been going on in our home this week. We did go to a family reunion but I was so busy feeding Brady and talking to everyone that I didn't even take a single picture! I did capture a shot of my chunky monkey in the tub while we got ready to go....check out that BELLY!! Sure can't tell he was a preemie!!

And heres one of Brax NOT getting ready as usual....

I have to share this pic of Brady, its getting harder and harder to get him to sit still so I can put clothes on him or change his diaper....I was trying to get his jammies on and he was being too crazy so I just decided to snap pics instead..look at those little teeth!

Look at his goofy smile in this one, and YES Brady has red hair hahaha

This was our last quiet weekend until after Christmas. We start the craziness this coming Saturday with a birthday party, should be fun and I will soooo try and take pics this time ;-)

Mad At Mommy!

Well, I took Brady to get his 9 month Hep. shot today and while he was there he got his Flu shot and H1N1 shot. He was a perfect patient as usual but screamed like crazy when Nurse Maddy gave him his shots...he got over his fit fast but I think he stayed mad at me for a little bit. I took this pic with my phone (thats why its not the best quality) after we left and he wouldn't even look at me!

So, we went to Target and I bought him a new toy (no, he's not spoiled at all!) and he was wonderful the rest of the afternoon! We met Joby and Uncle Stewart for lunch and Brady enjoyed some french fries!

Its very quiet around the Davis home tonight though. Braxton went to a Birthday Sleepover and Joby went to the last home football game GO DEMONS! Bradys already in bed so mommys left with nothing more to do than blog :-). We have a fun filled weekend planned so hopefully I can take lots of pics and post them soon!!
